A glimpse of the storm at a speed of 60 km

According to the Meteorological Department, the storm can blow at a speed of 60 km over 5 regions including Dhaka. This information was given in the warning issued for the inland river ports of the country on Friday (April 10) afternoon.

According to the warning, gusty winds of 45-60 km per hour are likely to blow over Dhaka, Tangail, Mymensingh, Comilla and Sylhet areas from west and north-west between 4 pm and 1 am. There is also a risk of rain and thunder. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, in the regular forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Friday, it has been said that there may be temporary gusty wind and lightning with rain or thunder in one or two places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies, but the weather will remain mainly dry.
