‘Pakka Randhuni’ competition is starting again in Chittagong, registration till May 8

Confidence Salt-Prothom Alo ‘Pakka Randhuni 2026’ domestic cooking competition is starting in Chittagong for the fourth time. Registration to participate in the competition can be done till May 8. This year’s theme is ‘country cuisine’. The registration process has already started from April 28. Contestants can register through Google link, WhatsApp or by attending directly.
To participate in the competition, the contestants must first submit a native cooking recipe in written form or on WhatsApp. Selection will be made based on submitted recipes. In the second round, the selected contestants will appear at the designated venue on the scheduled date with their home-prepared recipes and present them in front of the judges.
Based on this cooking process, 10 contestants will be selected for the final round. All the finalists have to cook in front of the judges. All cooking materials for the final phase will be provided by Prothom Alo. At the end, the judges will choose the best cook from there and award the prize.
The third season of Pakka Randhuni was held in May last year. 700 cooks applied to participate. 200 people were initially nominated from there. Then 32 people were selected for the second phase after looking at the recipe. From there, the judges selected 10 people for the final round.
