Mother and daughter were hacked to death in Faridpur, the neighbor who came to save them was also killed

In Faridpur, a youth has been accused of beating and hacking three people, including his grandmother-in-law, to death with a spade. The incident took place at Gadadhardangi village of Aliabad Union of Faridpur Sadar on Monday (April 27) around 10 pm.

Accused in the murder, Akash Molla (40) is the son of Harun Molla of Gadadhardangi village. The three victims of murder are Akash Molla’s grandmother Amena Begum (75), aunt Saleha Begum (55) and neighbor Kabul Chowdhury (49). Kabul Chowdhury is the son of Sultan Ahmed of that village. He is a rickshaw driver by profession. He has a wife and three children.

Riazul Islam (38) and Argina Begum (38) were injured in this incident. The locals rescued them and admitted them to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.

The officer-in-charge (OC) of Faridpur Kotwali police station confirmed the information that three people were killed. Shahidul Islam said, “We came to the scene after receiving the news. Akash, accused in this murder, is absconding. Multiple teams are working in the field to arrest him.

At that time, when he came to stop the beating, the neighbor killed Kabul Chowdhury. Two more neighbors were injured when they came to the rescue.

Akash was once working as a peon in Faridpur Tuberculosis Hospital, UP member Razzak Sheikh said, “Akash was a mentally unstable boy.” He was not married for this. One of his relatives got him a job in the health department. When his head was broken, he would not even go to the office. And when he was well, he behaved like a healthy-normal person.’
