Two students riding a motorcycle were killed after being hit by a private car in the 300 feet Jalsindi area of ​​Rupganj, Narayanganj. This accident happened on Sunday afternoon.

The two deceased are Rifat (20) and Sabbir Hossain (21). Sabbir was a 12th standard student of Khilgaon Model College, Dhaka. And Rifat was a 12th class student of Bancharam Degree College in Brahmanbaria. Their village home is in Shekerkandi village of Bancharampur upazila of Brahmanbaria.

Rifat’s uncle Jane Alam told Prothom Alo that two friends were coming to Dhaka on a motorcycle from Bancharampur. On the way, a private car hit their motorcycle at 300 feet Jalsidi area of ​​Rupganj around 12:30 noon. Pedestrians rescued them with serious injuries and first took them to Kurmitola General Hospital. They were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the afternoon. Doctors declared Rifat dead at 5:10 pm and Sabbir at 6:30 pm while undergoing treatment in the emergency department.

Relatives said Rifat was driving the motorcycle. He was coming from the village to Dhaka to do the motorcycle documents in BRTA.

Inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Outpost. Farooq said that the bodies of the two have been kept in the hospital morgue for autopsy.
