Chinese Ambassador meeting with Prime Minister’s Advisor Nazrul Islam Khan

Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tariq Rahman’s political and agricultural adviser Nazrul Islam Khan. This meeting was held in the office of Nazrul Islam Khan at the Prime Minister’s Tejgaon office on Tuesday.
Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Zahidul Islam gave this information.
Various issues related to the interests of Bangladesh and China were discussed in the meeting. It emphasized on strengthening cooperation in agriculture, forestry and education sectors, especially modern agricultural technology, forestry programs for environment conservation and skill development programs in education sector were discussed in detail. Adviser to the Prime Minister Nazrul Islam Khan has asked for more active cooperation of China in these sectors.
The Chinese ambassador also assured to continue cooperation in various developmental sectors in Bangladesh. Cultural Counselor Li Shaopeng and Second Secretary Huang Mouchong of the Chinese Embassy were present in the meeting with Ambassador Yao Wen.
