Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal is once again at the center of public discussion following allegations of inappropriate communication with Bengali actress Taniya Chatterjee. The controversy comes amidst ongoing speculation about his personal life, including his separation from wife Dhanashree Verma and a rumored past connection with content creator RJ Mahwash.

Chatterjee presented screenshots to journalists, appearing to show messages from Chahal complimenting her appearance. The alleged messages were displayed on her phone for cameras, indicating Chahal had commented on her photographs. Chahal has not publicly addressed these specific allegations.

This latest incident adds to a recent period of scrutiny for the leg-spinner. Chahal’s marriage to choreographer Dhanashree Verma, which followed a period of courtship, reportedly ended after only a few years. Reports suggested the couple had separated and were living apart, with speculation circulating about alimony payments.
