The role of a teacher in a school and an umpire in the field are almost the same. The teacher conducts the class, and the umpire or referee conducts the game on the field. In this respect, the roles of the two people are the same.

Just as the teacher is respected by the students in the classroom, the umpire or referee is respected by the players in the field of play. And it is the principle to respect the honorable person, it is natural. 

The common saying in sports is that the decision of the umpire is the final decision. In reality it happens. So if the umpire makes an unintentional mistake on the field, the players have to take it naturally. As we do in class.

Because of this, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has banned this Nepali all-rounder for one match.

The members of Umpire and Scorers Association of Nepal protested such comments. Karan also apologized for this comment. Still he has to be punished.
