The second Padma Bridge is at Daulatdia-Paturia

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Sheikh Rabiul Alam announced plans to construct the second Padma Bridge at Daulatdia-Paturia point. “We are going to build the second Padma bridge,” he said on Monday. Among the three proposals, the feasibility study of the Daulatdia-Paturia route has been completed and discussions are underway on financing. It should be noted that the total length of the present Padma Bridge of Munshiganj-Jazira, which was inaugurated in 2022, is 9.83 kilometers and the construction cost is more than 30 thousand crore rupees. The second Padma Bridge will be helpful in Eid Yatra.
