General Manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Mizanur Rashid has been suspended. He was temporarily suspended in a letter signed by Biman’s managing director and CEO on Tuesday.

According to the letter, he has been suspended under Article 58 of Bangladesh Biman Corporation Employees (Service) Regulations 1979.

Earlier on Monday morning, Bangladesh Airlines General Manager (GM) Mizanur Rashid was promoted to the post of Executive Director (ED). That order was mysteriously canceled later that afternoon. Yesterday, there was a lot of discussion within the organization around this incident.

According to Biman sources, an order signed by General Manager (Administration and Human Resources) Khandaker Baki Uddin Ahmed from the Administration and Human Resources Department informed about the promotion of Mizanur Rashid.
