Youth Dal worker Nasir Uddin (45) died after being shot by armed miscreants in Roujan, Chittagong. When he was taken to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital at around 12 midnight on Sunday, the doctor declared him dead.

Before this, Nasir Uddin was shot in Hat Shamser Para area of ​​Ishanbhat in Kadalpur Union of Raujan Upazila at around 10 pm yesterday. He is the son of Dudu Mia of Dakshin Shamser Nagar Village, Ward No. 6, Kadalpur Union.

According to police and local sources, a group of armed miscreants fired indiscriminately at Nasir in the Hat area of ​​Ishanbhat at around 10 pm yesterday. He was shot in this incident. Later, when local people gathered, the attackers fled. Residents took Nasir to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses said that multiple bullet shells were found at the scene. Nasir’s body was shot in multiple places. According to party sources, Nasir is associated with Juba Dal politics. However, according to the police, there are five cases against Nasir on various charges including terrorist activities.
