Police have arrested Mujibur Rahman alias Tikka, accused in a robbery case of Savar Model Police Station in Dhaka. He was arrested from Majukhan Bazar area of ​​Pubail police station in Gazipur on Thursday afternoon.

A source of naval police says that Mujibur Rahman, accused in several cases, was being brought after his arrest. Mujibur tried to escape by pushing Additional Superintendent of Police Mahfuzur Rahman before taking him to the police car. Mahfuzur Rahman fell on the road and got seriously injured. He is now undergoing treatment at Rajarbagh Police Hospital.

Naval Police Ashulia Outpost Inspector Md. Dawood said, “When Mujibur Rahman tried to run away, Mahfuz Sir caught him in Jap.” At this time, three policemen were injured after falling on the paved road.

Although the policemen were injured, Mujibur Rahman could not escape.
