Prohibited Awami League supporters stage flash protest in Feni

A group of masked individuals staged a flash protest in the Feni district town on Wednesday morning, marking a rare public display by supporters of the now-banned Awami League. Carrying a banner under the name of the Feni Sadar Upazila Awami League, approximately 15 to 20 youths marched through the city’s busy Station Road area before concluding their demonstration at the railway station platform.
The event gained public attention after video footage of the procession circulated widely on social media platforms on Wednesday afternoon. In the clips, participants are seen chanting slogans in support of the Awami League and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Local authorities have acknowledged the incident and confirmed that an investigation is underway to identify those involved. Gazi Muhammad Fauzul Azim, officer-in-charge of the Feni Model Police Station, stated that law enforcement is currently reviewing the matter and taking necessary legal action against the participants.
