Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad Bir Bikram called upon Hasnat Abdullah, Member of Parliament of Comilla-4 Constituency, not to be intolerant in the Parliament session. Addressing Hasnat, the Speaker said, “It is not Shahbagh Chatwar, it is Parliament.”

The speaker said this during the evening session on Friday (April 10).

Addressing the member of parliament, the speaker said, “Mr. Abdullah should not be so intolerant. This is not Shahbag Square, this is Parliament. Here you have to wait patiently, listen. And the scope of verbal communication is very less here. Give notice.’

The Speaker suggested, “Law Minister’s words can be fully considered.” If necessary, they discuss among themselves and bring an amendment bill in the next session. That will surely be considered by the government party.

At this time, calling for good environment of the parliament, the speaker said, this parliament has been formed after such a big July coup. We all came here through election. Such a wonderful parliament has never been seen before. I myself have come to Parliament 6 times. The present parliament is rare in the history of Bangladesh.
