Information about 57 people killed around Hefazat rally at Shapla Chattar: Chief Prosecutor
In May 2013, information was received that 57 people were killed in Dhaka, Narayanganj and Chittagong in connection with the Hefazete Islam rally at Shapla Chatter in Motijheel of the capital. On Sunday evening, Chief Prosecutor Aminul Islam told Prothom Alo on the phone that information about the murders in three places of the country was found on May 5, 2013. Murders have taken place in Dhaka during the day and at night. The next day, killings took place in Narayanganj and Chittagong.

Aminul Islam said, at that time, the identities of 32 victims of the murders in Dhaka were identified. Apart from this, it was found that 20 people were killed in Narayanganj and 5 people in Chittagong.
