Now another of our brothers Bullet Bhai has been killed, yet there is no visible progress in the process of justice. We are demanding speedy trial of this murder.

At this time Jaksur AGS Masood Rana urged the administration of Jagannath University to play a role in ensuring the justice of this murder.

Jaksur Law and Human Rights Secretary Habib Mohammad Farooq said, “A customs officer of the country has been killed, the government should have ensured this trial with utmost importance.” But as there is still no progress in the trial, we are here today. The government must ensure the trial of this murder very soon.

It is to be noted that Bullet Bairagi (35) was returning to Comilla home last Friday night from Chittagong. He also spoke to the family members several times after reaching the nearby place. But he never returned home. Last Saturday morning, the body of the customs officer was found near the Irish Hill Hotel in Kotbari area of Comilla on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. There were bloody marks of injury on the body. RAB has arrested five people in this incident.
