Due to the forecast of continuous rain, the Eid Jamaat has been arranged with extra caution. Even if it rains, so that the worshipers don’t have to suffer, triply is laid on the canopy.
It has been raining non-stop since Tuesday morning in Chittagong. Meanwhile, City Mayor Shahadat Hossain visited Jamiatul Falah Mosque premises at noon. He highlighted various aspects of Eid Jamaat preparation to the journalists.

According to City Corporation sources, a huge pandal has been constructed in Jamiatul Falah Maidan covering an area of about 65,000 square feet. Carpet is laid below. A trellis is being pulled over the awning to prevent rainwater. Besides, 140 ceiling fans, 60 stand fans, adequate lighting, 70 microphones and 30 CCTV cameras have been arranged for security.
On the ground, it was seen that the workers were pulling the tarpaulin on the awning. Bamboo poles and other structures are being tied more tightly. As some parts of the field have become muddy due to rain water, the city corporation workers are doing cleaning work there.
