Diverse Post-Retirement Paths Taken by Former Chief Justices of Bangladesh

Over the course of more than five decades of independent Bangladesh, 25 individuals have served as the Chief Justice of the country. Among these former heads of the judiciary, 14 have passed away, while 11 remain alive.

The post-retirement lives of these former Chief Justices vary significantly. While some continue to engage in intellectual pursuits, such as reading and writing, others have transitioned into professional roles, including presiding over arbitration proceedings.
