Dhaka ranks fourth among 125 cities in the world in terms of air pollution this Wednesday morning. Dhaka’s air quality is 151 at IQAir at this time. This was the wind condition at 8:30 AM. This quality of air is called ‘unhealthy’. Today, the air quality in elite areas of the city is relatively poor. Air quality in one of these areas is very unhealthy.

This situation of air pollution has been highlighted by IQAir, a Switzerland-based company. The organization regularly highlights the state of air pollution. This live or instant indicator of air quality informs and alerts people about how clean or polluted the air is in a particular city. IQAir has given several suggestions to avoid this air pollution today.

Today, air quality in some elite areas of the city is even worse. Among them, Baridhara is at the top in air pollution. The air quality in this area is 202. If the air quality is more than 200, it is called ‘very unhealthy’. Baridhara Park Road (192), Uttar Badda (189), Becharam Deuri (179), Dhanmondi (165) and Gulshan Lake Park (151) are on the pollution list respectively.

Dhaka’s air quality has been improving since last April. If it rains during this time, the air quality will improve quickly. April passed and May came, then it rained so much for days. It rained in some parts of the city on Tuesday. But air quality isn’t improving that much.
