Now the air pollution of Dhaka is not reducing even in the rain. Despite two consecutive days of rain, Dhaka ranks fourth among 122 cities in the world in terms of air pollution on Tuesday morning.
Dhaka’s air quality is 156 at IQAir today at 8:30 am. This quality of air is called ‘unhealthy’. Eight places in the capital have relatively poor air quality.
This situation of air pollution has been highlighted by IQAir, a Switzerland-based company. The organization regularly highlights the state of air pollution. IQAir has given several suggestions to avoid this air pollution today.

Today, air quality in eight areas of the city is relatively poor. Among them, Becharam Deuri is at the top in air pollution. The air quality in this area is 208. Air quality above 200 is considered very unhealthy. Next in the pollution list are North Badda’s Abdullah Bagh (191), Gulshan Lake Park (164), Agargaon (161), Baridhara Park Road (161), Baridhara Lake Side (157), Gulshan’s Beige Edge Water (155) and Dakshin Pallabi (153).
Generally, the air quality of Dhaka starts to improve from the month of April onwards. If it rains during this time, the air quality will improve quickly. April passed and May came, but the air quality wasn’t improving much.
According to IQAir’s advice, with the air quality in Dhaka today, you must wear a mask if you go out. It is advised not to exercise outside the house. And the windows of the house should be kept closed as much as possible.
