Colorful lights on the road around the New Year in Chittagong

On the occasion of Bengali New Year, workers of various cultural organizations along with the district administration painted colorful Alpana on various roads of Chittagong city. To welcome the New Year, rural traditions, folk culture and well-known symbols of Boishakh have emerged with a touch of colors at road junctions, important places and public gathering areas. Apart from creating a festive atmosphere, this Alpana instills a sense of tradition and love for Bengali culture. Various events are already underway in the city around the New Year, which will make the festival more lively.
