Murdered US student Nahida Sultana Barshi (26) has been buried next to her grandparents’ graves. Earlier on Saturday around 5.30 pm, his funeral was completed in Char Gobindpur North Kandi High School grounds in Madaripur.

Bristhir’s village home is in Char Gobindpur area of ​​Khwajpur Union of Madaripur Sadar Upazila. His father, Zahir Uddin Akon, lived with the family in the capital’s Mirpur for more than two centuries. He is working in a private life insurance company in Dhaka. He has one son and one daughter. Rain is the younger of the siblings. He was doing his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida, Florida, USA.

Rain’s body arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital Dhaka on Saturday morning. The body was brought to the village house around 1:15 pm. Relatives and neighbors flocked to see the rain for the last time. Rain’s childhood playmates also came running. A sad atmosphere is created there.

Rain’s sister-in-law Jabin Maryam said, ‘It is hard to accept that a girl who is smiling all the time will be killed like this, even in a country like the United States. I want justice for this murder. Rain’s father Zahir Uddin Akon said, “I cannot accept this grief at all. Where rain is supposed to return to the country of happy environment, it returned as a corpse.
