All the programs of the government to celebrate Pahela Baisakh

On this occasion, special Bengali New Year’s circulars containing the speeches of the President, Prime Minister, Minister of Culture, State Minister and Secretary will be published in various newspapers.
Nationalist Socio-Cultural Organization (JASAS) and Chhaynat will organize a cultural program in the morning of April 14 at Ramna Botmule. The Bengali New Year ceremony will necessarily begin with the performance of the national anthem and ‘Eso Hey Boishakh’.
Fine Arts Faculty of Dhaka University will organize ‘Baishakhi Shobhayatra’ like every year on the first day of Baisakh. This year’s protest in the procession is ‘New Year’s unity, revival of democracy’. Programs will be broadcast on all public and private television, radio, commercial radio and community radio.
On the occasion of Bangla New Year, Bangla Academy and Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation will organize a seven-day New Year fair, discussion meeting and other programs at the Bangla Academy premises from April 14 to 20.
On the occasion of New Year, all prisons, hospitals and children’s families will be provided with traditional food and traditional cultural programs will be organized for the children of the children’s families.
All museums and archaeological sites will be kept open to the public. Children and adolescents, students with disabilities and children with special needs will have the opportunity to enter without tickets.
Various departments of the Ministry of Culture or cultural institutes or centers or academies of minority groups will organize programs under their own management.
On the occasion of Bangla New Year celebrations, elite hotels and clubs will organize special programs and serve traditional food.
Suhrawardy Udyan and Ramana Park will arrange adequate number of medical care centers, required number of toilets and supply of clean water at convenient locations.
The law and order forces will ensure overall security in the programs organized at the district and upazila levels as well as the programs organized at the national level.
