3 more children died of measles and measles symptoms

One child died of measles and two children with symptoms of measles died in the last 24 hours till 8 am on Tuesday. A total of 38 children have died of measles since March 15. And 185 children died with measles symptoms.

This information has been informed in the updated report of the Department of Health today. During this period, 188 children were infected with measles. And 913 children were admitted to the hospital.

According to the information of the Department of Health, the child who died of measles in the last 24 hours is from Dhaka Division. And deaths with measles symptoms have occurred in Barisal and Sylhet divisions.

In the last 24 hours across the country, 1,159 children have been diagnosed with measles symptoms, the Health Department said. Out of this 913 children have been admitted to the hospital and most of them 445 children are from Dhaka division.

During this period, 848 children admitted with measles symptoms were discharged from the hospital. Dhaka division has the highest number of children with 389 children.

According to the report of the Department of Health, symptoms of measles have been seen in a total of 25,935 children since March 15. Among them, 17 thousand 85 children were admitted to the hospital. Among them, 3 thousand 805 children were diagnosed with measles. And the number of patients discharged from the hospital is 14 thousand 106.
