Social media influencer Prince Mamun granted bail in two cases at Bhatara police station

Social media content creator Abdullah Al Mamun, widely known as Prince Mamun, was granted bail in two separate cases filed at the Bhatara Police Station in the capital on Sunday.
The bail orders were issued by two separate metropolitan magistrate courts in Dhaka. Defense attorney Palash Chandra Roy confirmed the development, noting that there are now no legal obstacles to Mamun’s release from custody.
Metropolitan Magistrate Raonak Jahan Taki granted bail in a case involving allegations of domestic abuse and demands for dowry. The court set the bail conditions at a bond of 1,000 taka, effective until the submission of the police investigation report.
Additionally, Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbub Alam granted bail in a separate case filed against Mamun for allegedly attempting suicide during a live broadcast on Facebook.
The cases were filed by Mamun’s wife last month at the Bhatara Police Station. Following the filing of the complaints, law enforcement officials arrested Mamun, leading to his subsequent detention in prison.
