Pritam-Zeffer is the focus of discussion for Shihab Shaheen’s ‘Tumi Ami Tot’

Renowned Dhallywood director Shihab Shahin is good at making movies in the romantic genre.  The impression is also there in the movie ‘You are only me’. He has presented this movie by making the familiar story enjoyable. Musician Pritam Hasan and singer Zefar Rahman played central roles in this movie. Both of them have worked with this director before. Pritam has given convincing performances in ‘Kachher Mansoor Duri Thuiya’ and lastly in ‘Cactus’ in Eid. On the other hand, actress Jeffer Rahman was seen in ‘My Shelf Allen Swapan 2’. The audience liked the chemistry of these two musicians.

 The audience feels that the curiosity that was created around the teaser-trailer before the release of the movie ‘Tumi Aami Dhor’, has been fulfilled to a large extent after the release of the movie. Musician Pritam Hasan said about acting in this movie, I liked the story from the beginning. Ever since I heard about it a year ago, I was excited about the job. I believed that the work would get a good response and it is happening. 

I have tried to do the character in such a way that the youth of the city can easily relate with me, said the actor. He said, the story is taken from a very basic place in our society. So the main goal was to present it simply. 

Pritam Hasan said, the production took place in a very short time; But Shihab bhai’s output within a week is really amazing. Now getting very good response from audience. Many are watching more than once, it is a great pleasure for us.

Singer-turned-actress Zefar Rahman said, I am overwhelmed by the response I am getting for the movie. I did not expect to get such a positive response. Since I am new to acting, I was a bit nervous at the beginning. But in the end everything turned out well—it makes me very happy. Regarding the movie ‘Tumi Ami Thar’, producer Shihab Shaheen said that although the shooting was completed a year ago, ‘Tumi Ami Thar’ was stuck in various technical complications. Finally, overcoming that complication, the movie was released on Baisakh. He said, this is basically the story of a young woman’s free will and living her own way. At the same time, it is also a love story, where the audience will find novelty.

There is a little difference in the story of the movie ‘Tumi Ai Thor’. A ‘mistake’, a food delivery that reaches the wrong address. That small incident changed the lives of two strangers. On the one hand is Tanveer (Pritam), who is impulsive, prone to sudden decisions and believes that everything in life happens for a reason. On the other hand is Subah (Zeffer), who is reserved, logical and loves to ask questions before a relationship. The path of these two contrasting people’s mentality is united, the invisible tension is created between them – this is what the story of the story is about. So the question remains, are the recurring events mere coincidence, or is there some other link behind it? Shihab Shaheen’s movie ‘Tumi Ai Thar’ finds a new definition.

Apart from Pritam Haasan and Zeffer Rahman, the movie ‘Tumi Ami Bhod’ also stars veteran actors Manas Bandyopadhyay, Samu Chowdhury, actress Munmun Ahmed, newcomers Abdullah Al Sentu and Zaima Rahman.
