Hollywood star Anne Hathaway recently used the word ‘Insha’Allah’ in an interview and created a lot of discussion on social media. In a video posted by People magazine, the 43-year-old actress was talking about life and aging in her 40s. 

Expressing his desire to have a long and healthy life, he said, “I want to have a long and healthy life, inshallah, I hope so.” Fans were shocked to see Hathaway use this Arabic word with such a perfect accent and it instantly went viral on X (formerly Twitter).

Many netizens feel that Hathaway has not only covered the word, but is also well aware of its deep meaning and proper usage. While the internet has been debating about saluting fictional characters like Elmo, Hathaway’s gesture has impressed many. 

Some joke that the way he speaks makes it sound like he’s already familiar with the use of the word.

In the interview, Hathaway did not limit himself to just this word, but also shared several philosophical thoughts about life. As he got older, he said, he learned to embrace aging with curiosity rather than dread. 

According to him, people are either afraid of growing old, or they are afraid of dying young. He sees the first positively. He also shares his experiences on how life decisions pay off over time and how to remain calm in all situations.
