Now ‘Dum’ is being released in single screens across the country.

Dum, directed by Redwan Roni and starring Afran Nisho, will be seen all over the country. The movie is releasing on single screens across the country on Friday (April 24).
Earlier, the movie ‘Dum’ was released in all the multiplexes of the country on the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Now it’s time to win over the cinema-loving audience in all the big and famous single screens of the country.
SVF Alpha-I Entertainment Limited and Charki Productions have confirmed that the movie ‘Dum’ will be screened simultaneously in more than 50 theatres. As a result, common movie lovers across the country will get an opportunity to watch the movie easily. The list of single screens includes – Madhumita in Dhaka, Shyamoli Cinema Hall, Sena Auditorium in Savar, Shapla in Rangpur, Chayabani in Mymensingh, Rupkatha in Pabna, Abhiruchi in Barisal, Varsha in Joydevpur, Nandita in Sylhet, Manihar in Jessore etc.
In this regard, SVF Alpha-I Entertainment Limited Managing Director Shahriar Shakeel told the media that the plan was already in place – to avoid the risk of piracy, the movie will be released only in multiplexes initially. Accordingly we have released ‘Dum’ in multiplexes. With the passage of time, the interest and expectation of the audience is increasing and to end that wait, I am releasing it in single screen.
However, the movie ‘Dum’ has made a strong position in the international arena beyond the borders of the country. In the meantime, the movie has been released in Australia, America and Canada and is getting incredible response from the audience there. The popularity of the movie in North America was so high that the number of theaters increased from 7 to 50 in just one week. Similarly, in Canada, the movie released in 8 theaters in the first week. People related to the production said that expatriates from different countries are waiting for the movie ‘Dum’.
Dum will be released in different countries one by one and the audience will not be deprived of watching Dum. This triumph of desi cinema in foreign soil proves that Bengali cinema is in demand everywhere if it can tell world-class stories.
Shahriar Shakeel also said that the preparations for the single screen release of Dum are at the end. New posters have been designed, they have been printed. Now the process of sending them to cinemas is underway. Fans of actor Afran Nisho and the general audience, who have been waiting to watch the movie for so long, will not be disappointed this time.

Apart from Afran Nisho, actresses Pooja Cheri, Chanchal Chowdhury, Abul Hayat, Dolly Zahoor, Zahid Hasan and others acted in the movie ‘Dum’.
