‘Banlata Sen’ is coming on Eid

Director Masud Hasan Ujjwal’s new movie ‘Banlata Sen’ is going to be added to the list of movies awaiting release on Eid-ul-Azha. On Friday (May 15) afternoon, the director released a poster of the film on his social media Facebook.
In the caption of the poster, he writes, “No, this is not a house of tricks.” There is a key to the room, but there is no way to open the lock! Who lives in that room? ‘Banlata Sen’ is coming this Eid, in theaters near you.

It is known that the movie is based on the timeless poem ‘Banlata Sen’ by poet Jibanananda Das. The poster shows a huge gate, on the door of which is decorated a huge crown resembling a peacock’s beak. A man peeping through a large keyhole in the door.
Masuma Rahman Nabila and Khairul Bashar played one of the central roles in the movie. Apart from this, Sohail Mondal, Najiba Bashar, Priyanti Urbi, Rupanti Akid and Sharif Siraj are in various important roles.

This is director Masud Hasan Ujjal’s second film after ‘Unpanchash Batas’. The film, made with government grants for the fiscal year 2021-22, received permission for release from the certification board on April 12.
