NextJobs Career Summit and Job Fest 2026 Connects Thousands of Candidates with Employers in Dhaka

FARMGATE, DHAKA — The NextJobs Career Summit and Job Fest 2026 was held on Tuesday at the Krishibid Institution in the capital, aiming to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers while fostering a skilled workforce aligned with the nation’s evolving labor market. The day-long event drew thousands of job seekers, industry experts, and representatives from over 100 organizations across various sectors.

Nazneen Kawser Chowdhury, Secretary and Executive Chairman of the National Skills Development Authority under the Prime Minister’s Office, attended the event as the chief guest. She emphasized that academic credentials alone are insufficient in the modern labor market. She urged job seekers to cultivate technical and professional competencies alongside essential soft skills, including communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, to meet the demands of contemporary workplaces.
