On the night of August 23, Shahnaj Parvin and a group of approximately 15 to 20 people allegedly entered the business premises, demanded payment, and issued threats. The complaint states that the business was subsequently vandalized.

Tensions escalated further on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. when a confrontation broke out between the entrepreneur and textile traders at the market. Zakia Sultana, accompanied by several other women, initiated a protest and human chain at the site, demanding justice for the previous attack on her establishment.

As the situation intensified, traders attempted to force the group out of the market. Local police arrived at the scene to manage the unrest; however, witnesses reported that several young men assaulted the entrepreneur with kicks and slaps while officers were present.
