Three Service Chiefs Meet President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban

The heads of the three branches of the armed forces held a courtesy meeting with President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban on Tuesday to congratulate him on assuming office.
The delegation included Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Khondker Misbah-ul-Azim, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan.
During the meeting, the service chiefs briefed the President on the operational activities of their respective branches. They sought the guidance and support of the President, who serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, in the execution of their duties.
President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed satisfaction with the ongoing operations of the armed forces. He emphasized that the current government is committed to transforming the military into a modern, multidimensional force.
The President pledged his full support for the overall development of the armed forces and committed to prioritizing the enhancement of the professional capabilities of military personnel throughout his tenure.
