Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman begins five-day official visit to South Sudan and Abyei

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman departed on a five-day official visit to South Sudan and Abyei on Saturday.
During his visit, the Army Chief is scheduled to inspect the Bangladeshi contingents currently deployed under the United Nations peacekeeping missions in both regions.
In addition to his inspections, General Waker-Uz-Zaman will hold courtesy meetings and engage in discussions with state officials and representatives from the respective UN missions.
