United States Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent Christensen emphasized that robust military cooperation and deep-seated people-to-people ties form the fundamental pillars of the bilateral partnership between the two nations. Speaking at a joint musical performance held at the Air Force Museum in Dhaka, the ambassador highlighted music as a universal language capable of bridging cultural divides and fostering closer connections.

The event featured a collaborative performance by the Bangladesh Air Force Band and the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division Band, known as “Tropic Lightning.” The concert served as a key highlight of “Freedom 250 America Week,” a series of events organized by the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka to commemorate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.

Ambassador Christensen lauded the Bangladesh Air Force as a valued friend and partner, noting that military musicians serve as some of the world’s most effective diplomats by communicating through melody rather than words. He identified the Air Force Museum as an ideal venue for the performance, describing the location itself as a symbol of the enduring and close cooperation between the air forces of both countries.
