Amidst the controversy, actor Rakhi Sawant has offered a candid look into her past encounters with the veteran star, recalling a jarring experience on the set of the 2000 film *Joru Ka Ghulam*. Sawant, who was a newcomer at the time, had been cast for an item number in the movie.

According to Sawant, the filming schedule was demanding, requiring her to arrive at the set by 6:00 a.m. While she waited for hours, Govinda arrived significantly behind schedule. Sawant, who identified as a fan of the actor at the time, approached him to pay her respects upon his arrival.
