Cooking has always been a hobby outside of the profession. Although earlier it was not given much importance. Participating in MasterChef this year was out of my comfort zone and out of my desire to do something different, says Anisha.

Anisha lives with her husband Jehan in Enfield, London. His style of cooking is varied. From British classics to a fusion of South Asian and East Asian flavors, his cuisine features. She likes to cook dishes that suit her South Asian tastes.
At the same time, Anisha likes to cook new dishes inspired by various recipe books, videos of content creators, street food from different countries and star restaurants. The family influence is also evident in his cooking.
Anisha’s father used to cook in a restaurant. Mother used to cook at home. Anisha said that she developed her cooking skills from the cooking style and experience of these two. He was studying at the university then. Used to order food through local takeaways. But the food didn’t taste very good. So get interested in cooking yourself. Anisha’s husband is a Cypriot of Turkish origin. Hence, his favorite work is to experiment with Bengali-Turkish fusion in everyday cooking. He wants to create something new by mixing the flavors of different cultures.
