Tapas Vishya is angry about the ‘captain’s card’

BCB Ad Hoc Committee President Tamim Iqbal launched ‘Captain’s Card’ with 4 special benefits to former captains. This card was handed over to 21 captains on April 16.
However, former pacer Tapas Vaishya opined that this card has created a new discrimination. He said this in a Facebook post.
According to him, earlier captains used to get a chance to watch the game in the AC box, but ordinary cricketers did not. He said, ‘The discrimination of this era! AC box for captains and general gallery for teammates from other national teams to watch the game beforehand! And now the card!
He said that he will talk about the matter in a video message soon. He also added, ‘Captains are kings and others are subjects! If you are the captain, Choudhury and other teammates?
If everyone plays together, 11 or 14, after leaving the game, all are national players!’
He cited Mohammad Rafiq as an example. He said, ‘How many captains are popular players like Rafiq Bhai? Rafiq Bhai will sit in the general gallery and Ankora skipper AC box? Captains need health insurance and so do other teammates!’
He said, if there is self-respect, any cricketer will protest against it. He said, “If anyone has self-respect, they will protest against this discrimination.” Those who got the card will not because they have now become the Chaudhuri of Bengali cinema.
He also said that because of this, he is now ashamed to introduce himself as a former cricketer. He said, ‘Due to this discrimination, I am ashamed to introduce myself as a former player of the national cricket team. In this age it is extreme discrimination.
Finally he also punched Ad Hoc Committee President Tamim Iqbal. He also expressed enthusiasm about former cricketers becoming board president. He said, “I want no former player to be president of the board ever again.” All seen!’
