Prime Minister Tariq Rahman attended the conference organized on Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers (UHFPO).
The Prime Minister participated in the conference organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Saturday around 11 am.

With the aim of bringing health care to people’s doorsteps, this conference has been organized to update the activities of upazila health and family planning officers, to inform about the overall activities and to convey the instructions of the government to all the doctors.
In the conference, Secretary of Health Care Department Mohammad Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Director General of Health Directorate Professor Prabhat Chandra Biswas, Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain and Minister of State for Health MA Muhith and officials of the concerned ministries are present.

At this time, the Prime Minister gave crest to six doctors nominated in the emergency service category working in the best upazila health and family planning department. They are Shobhan Kumar, Al Morshed, Mujibur Rahman, Sajid Hasan, Suman Fati Saha and Tasneem Zubair.
This is the first meeting of the Prime Minister with the upazila health and family planning officials.
