Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Arrives in Dhaka for High-Level Bilateral Talks

Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed El-Khereiji arrived in Dhaka late Monday for a high-level diplomatic visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties. The Saudi official was received at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by Humayun Kabir, the Prime Minister’s advisor on foreign affairs.

El-Khereiji’s itinerary for Tuesday is heavily focused on bilateral cooperation and administrative engagement. His morning schedule includes a joint meeting with Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam, and the Prime Minister’s foreign affairs advisor, Humayun Kabir.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Foreign Minister is slated for a courtesy call with Prime Minister Tareque Rahman. Before his scheduled departure from the capital on Tuesday evening, El-Khereiji will hold a final meeting with Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ariful Haque Chowdhury to discuss labor and migration issues.
