Prime Minister is going to Chandpur tomorrow, when and what program

Prime Minister Tariq Rahman is going to visit Chandpur tomorrow Saturday. He will go to Chandpur by road from Dhaka and participate in various programs throughout the day including inaugurating the canal excavation. Sheikh Farid Ahmed (Manik), Member of Parliament of Chandpur-3 Constituency and District BNP President, gave this information at a press conference organized on the ground of Chandpur Government College at around 11 o’clock on Friday.

Sheikh Farid Ahmed said, Chandpur district BNP has completed all preparations on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s arrival. Meanwhile, on the occasion of his arrival, there is great joy and excitement among the party leaders and supporters. The leaders and workers will present various demands to the Prime Minister including construction of EPZ with an economic zone in Chandpur, construction of permanent river bank from Shatanal to Haimchar in Matlab, establishment of medical college, science and technology university.

Referring to the Prime Minister’s tour schedule, Sheikh Farid said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate the re-excavation of Khordkhal in Waruk Bazar, Tamta South Union of Shahrasti Upazila in the district tomorrow at 11 am during his one-day visit. After that, at quarter past two, Vishwakhal will inaugurate re-excavation work at Ghosh’s Hat in Kumardugi village of Shahmahmudpur Union of Sadar Upazila. He will inaugurate the family card program at Chandpur Government College grounds at 3:30 pm and address the public meeting after Zohar prayer and lunch at Circuit House at 2:30 pm. He will leave Chandpur for Dhaka by road after attending the district BNP organizational meeting at Chandpur Club at 5 pm.

BNP leaders and workers are excited on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s arrival. They said that they will present various demands for the development of Chandpur to the Prime Minister. District Women’s Dal President Munira Chowdhury said, “We want the Prime Minister to give priority to women and ensure their safety and establish equal rights by removing discrimination.” District Juba Dal General Secretary Nurul Amin Khan said that they hope that the Prime Minister will undertake special activities for them including employment of youth and youth.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Ziaur Rahman said that perfect security has been strengthened in Chandpur on the occasion of Prime Minister Tariq Rahman’s arrival.
