Police recover human fetus from garbage dump in Faridpur

Police in Faridpur recovered a premature human fetus from a trash heap near Kanaipur School and College on Monday afternoon. Authorities were alerted to the scene around 4:30 p.m. after local residents witnessed a dog scavenging in the refuse and carrying the remains into public view.
The discovery drew a crowd of concerned passersby who notified the local police department. Officers from the Kotwali Police Station arrived shortly thereafter to secure the area and recover the remains. Following the recovery, officials conducted a preliminary examination and initiated formal legal proceedings regarding the incident.
Officer-in-Charge Md. Mahmudul Hasan of the Faridpur Kotwali Police Station confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation is currently underway. Law enforcement officials are working to identify the source of the remains and determine the circumstances surrounding how they were discarded at the site. Authorities have vowed to pursue all necessary legal actions to uncover the facts behind the case.
