He made this comment in a speech given at the National Citizen Party (NCP) joining ceremony at the Rajshahi Zilla Parishad auditorium today on Saturday afternoon. According to NCP, about 500 leaders and workers have joined their party.

On the occasion, around 50 people who came to join NCP from BNP, Gana Odhikar Parishad and Islami Chhatra Shibir were welcomed by NCP North Chief Organizer Sarjis Alam and Chief Coordinator Naseeruddin Patwari wearing flower garlands. It was announced from the program stage who they used to be in which party politics and what was their position.

Nasiruddin Patwari warned the government at the event and said, “If you do not implement reforms in Bangladesh, then we cannot guarantee whether you will have a mattress or not.” Because people have voted. The people gave the mandate. If anyone wants to kick the box of these people, we will not hesitate to kick their mattress.’

Referring to the Farakka Long March Day, Nasiruddin Patwari said, “On this day, a big war was declared against India from Rajshahi. On this day Maulana Bhasani said against India, will not give up the right to water. BNP has stolen the brand that Bhasani had and today adopted a kneeling foreign policy against India. If you can take Bhasani’s brand, then you must also take his principles. If not, return Bhasani’s mark.’

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of NCP’s northern region, said, “Before the coup there was extortion in Bangladesh, it is still happening. If the actions that led to a coup are repeated by BNP leaders and workers, then we are worried about BNP’s politics in the future. We believe that no one will be able to survive in the future Bangladesh by doing this politics.

Sarjis Alam said, ‘BNP says, we only speak for opposition; But do we want more killings on the border? Want to see Dadagiri in another country? Bangladesh cannot be safe in the hands of those who started these things without coming to power.

It was announced at the joining ceremony that 500 people joined the NCP under the leadership of Ziaur Rahman, the former president of Rajshahi New Government Degree College. Flower garlands were placed around Ziaur Rahman’s neck on the stage. Apart from this, Kuwait BNP general secretary Saiful Islam, Rajshahi Mahanagar Gana Odhikar Parishad joint general secretary Jiasmin Parvin and legal affairs secretary Hossain Mahmud, former president of Bagmara Upazila Student Camp Enamul Haque, Godagari College professor Habibur Rahman and around 50 people were welcomed on the stage with flower garlands.

NCP Rajshahi Metropolitan Convenor Mobaswer Ali presided over the joining ceremony. Joint member secretary of the party ABM Ghazi Salauddin Ahmed, SM Saif Mostafiz, organizing secretary Imran Imon, National Women’s Shakti convener Monira Sharmin and others were present. Atiqur Rahman, Member Secretary of NCP, Mahanagar conducted the program.
