The education minister said about stopping plagiarism in his previous term, ‘I did not stop plagiarism by importing teachers from America. I did it through you, or? It is a proven fact that if the government has goodwill, teachers cooperate. If the government does not cooperate, the teachers do not cooperate. So I believe, the teachers will go back to the previous position. Bring back the education environment.

Ehsanul Haque said, ‘Electronic devices or something else, we have to take measures for these. No need to do much this time. Simply we talked about closed circuit cameras. But it’s not just for testing. There is no mistaking this matter. Today, the students complained that the classes are not conducted properly in the polytechnic. Regarding the installation of CC cameras in the classrooms, the Education Minister said, “We have said that there should be a camera system in every classroom.” Then we can sit in Dhaka or sit in Rajshahi to see the classes, whether classes are taking place in the classroom or not. Now hearing this, many people are saying that the students cannot be allowed to wander. Why? Relax. Can’t turn the neck – it’s not a matter. As we have said, whether there is attendance in the classroom, whether the teacher attends properly, whether the student pays proper attention or not—we will take these into consideration. Also, there will be CC cameras in the examination hall. If I can see the world sitting at home, why can’t I see the classroom sitting at home?’

Speaking about the plan to increase the budget in the education sector, the education minister said, “This time the Prime Minister has said that he will give five percent to the education sector in the budget. Hughes amount but five percent. In this last budget, I saw that the money is going back. Can’t use it. When I come five percent, the budget will be almost doubled – can I spend this money? can’t So we want to gradually increase the budget of the education sector.
