Dhaka University postpones Monday exams due to severe weather and campus flooding

University of Dhaka authorities have suspended all internal examinations scheduled for Monday, July 13, citing severe weather conditions across the capital.

The decision, announced Sunday night by the university’s Office of the Controller of Examinations, follows persistent heavy rainfall that triggered significant waterlogging in several areas of the campus. Students residing in the Bangamata Sheikh Fozilatunnesa Mujib Hall and the Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall were particularly affected by the flooding, prompting a formal request from the student body for a delay in testing.

Under the new directives, the rescheduled dates for the postponed examinations will be determined and announced based on recommendations from the respective academic departments and institutes.
