Leaders and workers of the banned Chhatra League in Sirajganj’s Ullapara and the banned Awami League’s activities in the Saraile of Brahmanbaria held a jhticak procession. On Sunday morning they came out with a procession. The video of the procession went viral on Facebook.

In the Sirajganj video, it can be seen that Chhatra League leaders and activists wearing face masks are marching on Sontala Bridge of Ullapara Upazila. However, no one has been identified.

Local people said that on Sunday morning, 30-35 people suddenly took out the procession on the bridge. At this time they gave different slogans saying ‘Joy Bangla’. They finished the procession within a few minutes and quickly left the area.

A video of the procession went viral on Facebook in the afternoon. In the video, slogans are seen about Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In this incident, Sarail police station took part in the procession. A youth named Vishal (20) was arrested this afternoon.

Officer-in-charge of Sarail police station Manjur Quader Bhuiyan confirmed the truth of the incident and told Prothom Alo that Sheikh Munna lives in Dhaka.
