A child who went to watch television at a neighbor’s house was allegedly raped. The incident took place on Monday afternoon in a village of Keshavpur in Jessore. Locals arrested a teenager in this incident and handed it over to the police.
According to police and local sources, a fourth class student of the upazila went to watch television at noon in the neighboring house. At that time, the SSC examinee of that house raped a teenage girl. The girl went home and informed her mother. Later, when the mother went and interrogated the boy, he admitted the truth of the incident. When the incident became known, the people of the area went to the house and arrested the teenager and handed him over to the police.

The police brought the teenager to Keshavpur police station. Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Roksana Khatun said that the child will be sent to Jessore for medical examination. In this incident, the child’s father will file a case with the police station as a plaintiff. The case is under process. The arrest of the juvenile arrested in this case will be shown.
