15 were killed when the truck overturned at the eastern end of the Yamuna Bridge in Tangail
15 people were killed when a truck loaded with rods overturned in Kalihati upazila of Tangail. At least 10 people were injured in this incident.
The accident took place in the Saraoil area of the eastern end of the Yamuna bridge of the upazila at around 4:30 am on Monday morning.

Fuad Rohani, officer-in-charge of Yamuna Setu East Police Station, said that a truck loaded with rods from Dhaka was heading towards North Bengal with passengers. The truck lost control in the Saratoil area and fell on the side of the highway. At this time, 15 people were killed on the spot.
