Dhallywood superstars Arifin Shuvoo and Bidya Sinha Mim are set to grace the silver screen this Eid with their upcoming film, ‘Malik.’ The official announcement came recently with the release of the movie’s first-look posters across social media, instantly generating significant buzz among cinephiles.
The two distinct posters for ‘Malik’ offer contrasting moods, intensifying audience interest. The first showcases actor Arifin Shuvoo in a fierce, action-packed demeanor, with a discernible look of revenge in his eyes. The second, in stark contrast, presents a purely romantic ambiance, featuring Mim alongside Shuvoo in an enchanting appearance. Both posters prominently feature the tagline: “Revenge Has a New Name.”

‘Malik’ is primarily an action-thriller, revolving around an obstinate and determined man, portrayed by Arifin Shuvoo, in the titular role. The narrative traces the journey of an ordinary young man who transforms into an absolute power in the criminal underworld while fighting to reclaim his mother’s honor and lost rights.
Director Saif Chandan has also promised a fresh and surprising portrayal of actress Mim in the film, where she will be seen in a “Lady Superstar” avatar. The film is currently undergoing post-production work in Kolkata.

Director Saif Chandan expressed optimism that ‘Malik’ will significantly amplify the joy of Eid for cinema-goers. He stated that the diverse nature of the initial posters was a deliberate choice to signal the grand cinematic experience awaiting audiences, leading up to its festive release. Following the film’s expected censorship approval on Saturday, May 23, the production team plans to sequentially release its songs and an action-packed trailer.
