Malayalam television actor Siddharth Venugopal has died at the age of 41 after a two-year battle with cancer. His death on Saturday, April 18, was confirmed by actress and close friend Seema G. Nair, marking the end of his long and arduous fight against the disease.

In an emotional social media post, Seema G. Nair conveyed her grief, writing that Siddharth had “finally moved to a ‘painless world'” after enduring prolonged suffering. His passing leaves behind a grieving mother, a younger brother, and countless admirers.

A resident of Thrissur, Kerala, Venugopal was a prominent figure in the Malayalam television industry, gaining widespread popularity for his significant roles in acclaimed series such as ‘Kasthooriman’ and ‘Bhagyajathakam.’ His career initially began as an anchor, before he transitioned to acting, where he earned a strong following.

His treatment for cancer was described as both expensive and difficult. Throughout his challenging journey, colleagues from the entertainment industry rallied to provide support, organizing fundraising events and blood donation drives to assist with his medical expenses and urgent needs.
