Her arrival on Friday for the premiere of “The Birthday Party” marked a highly anticipated moment for fans and fashion observers.

For her initial appearance at the 77th edition of the festival, Rai Bachchan chose a dazzling blue mermaid gown, which immediately went viral across social media platforms upon her red carpet stroll. Videos captured the global beauty gracefully posing for photographers on the iconic Cannes stairs and sharing a warm embrace with fellow L’Oréal Paris ambassador and long-time friend, Eva Longoria.

The actress had departed Mumbai on Thursday night with Aaradhya, heading for France to participate in the festival’s concluding events. Her attendance had been a subject of fan speculation, with L’Oréal Paris, for whom she is a brand ambassador, previously affirming her consistent presence at the event: “Year after year, Cannes after Cannes, she never misses.”
