Fuel Prices Remain Unchanged For October Across Bangladesh
The government of Bangladesh has decided to keep retail fuel oil prices unchanged for the month of October, maintaining the rates previously adjusted in September.
The decision was formally announced through an official notification issued on Wednesday by the Operation-1 branch of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, taking effect from Thursday (October 1).
Under the maintained pricing structure, diesel continues to sell at 135 Taka per liter, octane at 165 Taka per liter, petrol at 160 Taka per liter, and kerosene at 155 Taka per liter.
Fuel prices were last adjusted on September 20, with the revised rates taking effect from September 21. During that previous adjustment, the price of diesel was increased from 115 Taka to 135 Taka per liter, octane from 145 Taka to 165 Taka, petrol from 140 Taka to 160 Taka, and kerosene from 135 Taka to 155 Taka.
